What people love about River Cruise Tours in Balkans
- Highlights of Eastern Europe (2025) (Bucharest to Budapest, 2025)
Very good tour - excellent guides, very knowledgeable and fun!
- Enchantment of Eastern Europe with Budapest and Bucharest 2025 - 11 Days
Emerald Waterways did a wonderful job in housing, feeding, entertaining, and transporting us. I would definitely consider using them again, and would highly recommend them to potential travelers. The Itinerary was rated Average because, frankly, there are simply not a lot of interesting attractions along that route of the Danube. We took the trip because we wanted to see a part of the world neither of us had seen. Well, we saw enough to know we never wanted to visit that part of the world again. I have to give a special thanks to the whole crew of the Emerald Destiny for accommodating my illness. Unfortunately, I contracted an intestinal infection that was painful and kept me having to be near a WC at all times. They fixed a special diet for me, and arranged to have me taken to hospital in Ruse, Hungary where I was examined and got medicines prescribed. We could have never figured out how to get to the hospital and find the right clinic by ourselves. Great job!
