Argentina Antarctica Tour Reviews
- Antarctic Explorer via Buenos Aires, Operated by Quark
Excellent! Tour , Quark Expedition staff. hotel, Food, Daily programs all thumb up
- Antarctica Classic
I like the tour overall but I think there are some room for improvement. 1. Please clearly state our hotel and logistics information before we departure. I did not see my hotel name and address before I get on my flight so I had to contact the agent to clarify. 2. Please consider age and nationally when you assign room. You can ask whether the passage has a preferences. Young people would like to play with young people. Senior has more topic to talk to senior. Specially senior people snoring so badly. 3. Please let people meetup together before we go to the room so it will be fair for everyone to get the bed. Some people took advantage on being arrived early so they occupied a lot room and space. It is so unfair to the people who went to room late (because of bus arrangement)
- Quest for the Antarctic Circle
G Adventures - Treating Customers Unfairly This is not a trip review but rather comment on their customer service. I booked the “Quest for the Antarctic Circle” almost a year before the trip and paid the full price for triple share as posted at [external link removed in moderation]. Later, my friend told me that she was interested to join me but at that time, only twin share was available. As this was over her budget, she finally decided not going. Then time came for the trip. After knowing the room allocation, I met a lady who would have been my roommate. However, it was a great surprise for me that at last minute, she got upgraded and moved to a twin room while I have to stay with two girls who pay much less than me (about 30% less). I feel very unhappy about this situation. This all works with zero transparency. How they choose who to upgrade? Why they have to do this to make room for other people to get a lower price? How can the two girls get last-minute deal that should not have existed? Or it was not really last-minute deal but it was actually tailor-made price for someone? Why customers are penalized for paying too early? It is plain unfair treatment and this whole thing ruins my experience with G Adventures.
