Reviews of Small Group tours to South East Asia
- Thailand Grand Tour, Small Group Tour (English Only)
Whilst the hotels themselves were excellent as far as accommodation and breakfast were concerned (except for the hotel at sukhumthai where eggs were obviously cooked very early in the morning and were cold at 7-00 am .Maybe we were spoilt at other hotels in that a chef was provided to cook eggs as one liked along with omlettes and other asian delicacies on the spot ) Further the hotel at Chaing Ria was in a reasonable location considering we were there for 2 days and no early rises .As such time was available to explore the city. Whilst the Holiday Inn at Chaing Mia was probably the best of all the hotels, its location was terrible in that it was about an hours walk to the night market. The hotel at Sukhumthai was 4 kilometres from the old town and 12 kilometres from the new town.Terrible Having said the above and considering the locations of the hotels it would have been helpful to have the tour guide advise how to get to the bustling townships ie by taxi or tut tut and the cost as your tours do not allow for a brief tour and advice as to the attractions in the various townships .Yes we see allthe temples and other tourist attractions however we do not see much of the local people. Finally on the last two days of the tour we were left to our own devices in chinatown Bangkok. It would have been nice for the tour guide to have given us a brief tour of Bangkok city and explained the best method of transport ie taxi or tut tut and even an explanation of how to use the rail system Brian Nichols
- Bangkok and Ancient Capitals, Small Group Tour
Very good experience. Would have been even better if one day brief tour of Mangkok was included.
- Treasures of Southeast Asia In 11 Days (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand)
Because we don't have much time, we chose the tour within 10 days Vietnam Thailand and Cambodia. Actually, I received services worthy of what I paid. The trip to BaVi Eco Tour is the highlight of the journey, it has brought me much knowledge about countryside in Vietnam and I have loved it. Sviet did a good job in organizing this journey
