The tour was quite perfect- our guides were comprehensive, professional, on-time, informative Vehicles were excellent. We added 2 nights at same hotel of the tour. It was very good choice, we had moe time in Rome. It was very well-run I would recommend. Overall, Claudia was magnificent.

Itinerary excellent for overview of Italy. Claudia fantastic in knowledge, efficiency, kindness and flexibility. Gracia (Sorrento guide) good in knowledge, poor in changing gears per group priorities, listening, multitasking, showing up as promised, patronizing. Hotels well located except for Sorrento (miles from anything but sea, nowhere to walk, totally isolated) but all 3-Star at best. Included “meals” (aside from Sorrento where good) were drink and free bar food at best (deep fried pizza??). One excellent meal was steak dinner in Florence. Trains great and efficient. Bottom line: Claudia’s time and expertise worth every penny; if you choose this for other perks, be advised.

Almost everything was very good or excellent. In particular: (1) Our guide Liz (superb - went way beyond our expectations), (2) The group & group dynamic, (3) two of the three main walks, (4) Sienna trip, (5) the evening meals, greatly enhanced by the group dynamic. For us, there were a few drawbacks: (1) early starts, (2) the days were too long with too much crammed in, (3) too much bus time! We enjoy our walks and are used to 16k plus hikes but with plenty of free time. We really enjoyed the experience but will probably look for something with more downtime (and less bus time) in future. Thanks to Liz and Exodus for everything .
