What people love about Philippines Tours for Young Adults
- Philippines Island Explorer 13 day
Once again Intro, you've out done yourself. I just got back home after finishing my Intro Philippines tour. So yea a bit sad because it's over, but I'm left with some amazing memories. I am still trying to decide what was my favorite part of this tour. I got to tell ya though, that I wasn’t sure how’d I do during the 3-day boat expedition; I mean, I initially read that we’d be sleeping in traditional Filipino huts. Yes, first world city boy problems. But man, man… what an overall experience; so happy I did it. It was only hard to go to sleep because I didn’t what to stop staring at the BEAutiful bright stars and moon listening to the chillaxing sounds of the ocean. It sure shut this city boy up! And I cannot forget about my boys Kyle and Jeremy, Intro’s tour guides for this trip. Those guys were the icing. Really cool chill guys, had me laughing most of the time. Always looking out for everyone, making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Not sure where Intro finds their guides from, but this was my fourth tour with Intro and every guide has been amazing. Thank you Kyle and Jeremy for rocking this tour; you guys were amazing!!!
- Philippines Island Experience
I have just completed the 17 Day Island Hopper trip with Tru travels and Orty as our travel ninja and have had an unforgettable experience. The itinerary itself was well thought out and allowed us to see a great number of locations in a relatively short amount of time. Furthermore, the activities and experiences offered in each location gave great depth and variety ensuring everyone, no matter their interests, had an excellent experience. In particular, the island hopping boat tours we did in Port Barton and El Nido were spectacular thanks to both the beautiful scenery and wildlife we encountered and the crews that accompanied us who were excellently selected by Orty and the Tru Travels team. The accommodation on the whole was great and Orty always ensured there were laundry facilities and water stations in order for us to have a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the location of the accommodations was great. We were always either walking distance or a short tuk tuk away from the best beaches, restaurants and shops that the town had to offer which elevated our experience, especially when we had some free time. However, what ultimately made my experience was undoubtedly our tour guide Orty. I have never met someone who struck the balance between being a working professional and your friend as well as Orty did. In a country that often posed unexpected challenges, Orty was always there to use his expertise to overcome any slight issue and ensure that we remained completely unaffected. He made us feel completely safe and secure, always at the end of the phone if we ever needed him, day or night and his extensive recommendations were always reliable, allowing us to enjoy each location to the max without any worry or effort on our behalf. He even used his various contacts and friends throughout the island to give us exclusive experiences which made us feel so special and lucky. In particular, what made Orty stand out for me was his undeniable passion for his work and his country. His knowledge of both the nation’s history and its communities gave us a depth to our trip we could not have wished for nor afforded on our own. He even shared his recommendations and various contacts for the rest of the Philippines for those, like myself, who were doing onward travel which made me feel so much more confident about travelling on my own. Furthermore, his passion and care for the people in the towns we visited elevated the trip from a holiday to an all encompassing, educational experience and has certainly impacted how I intend to travel in the future. He was inspired me to be more considerate and sustainable and to always incorporate local experiences. Orty’s warmth and character made a group of strangers feel immediately at home with one another and his wit had us laughing for hours. He was always up for joining us in the evening, often leading the party himself and was always incredibly engaging and friendly to everyone. He simply is the best and I cannot thank him enough for the experience he has given me nor recommend him more to anyone wishing to travel the Philippines. Thank you Orty for all that you do, we love you!
- West Philippines Classic 10 Day - One Life Adventures
We unfortunately had pretty bad weather on the trip which put a bit of a downer on the situation and a couple things had to be cancelled but as a group we made it the best we can! I found it to be quite a party trip (which I wasn’t expecting) but we saw some beautiful parts of the Philippines. Overall it was a great 10 day experience to see what we could of the area, I maybe would do less in a couple places to try and see more but other then that it was a lot of fun.
