Our guide made the tour special by stopping to show us interesting things along the way as we were a very small group. If we had been a bigger group this flexibility would not have been possible and I think then the tour would have been too many temples. However, the tour as we had it was excellent as we saw a lot of the rural areas and small villages. Note that this tour does not include a tour of Chennai or Kochi so try to stay an extra day before and after the tour to visit these places by yourself. Train ride was great, nothing to fear; hotels all comfortable but out of the city center; guide and driver excellent and the people of India are the friendliest in the world.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on our Tamilnadu Temple Tour. The MTA team went out of their way to customize the itinerary in order for us to visit a few places not included. Our driver was a lovely young man and an excellent driver. It was also nice to have one of the MTA team meet us at the hotel in Madurai to check if we were enjoying the tour. I would not hesitate to recommend MTA. We both loved India and will be returning in the future and will be organizing our next trip with MTA.
