What people love about China Tours for Seniors
- Best of China & the Yangtze River
I had a wonderful time on this trip, as everything went smoothly, with so many different experiences and a fantastic tour director. Others in the group were friendly and great company. I can't fault the whole tour and would highly recommend it (and Globus) to others looking for a high quality experience.
- China Express
This tour was exactly what I expected. Yes, we did travel a lot, but saw so much in such a short amount of time. Ricky was so sweet! He looked after us so much and really got to know his group. And speaking of the group, the dynamics were perfect. Such a small team and this allowed us to get around all security checks swiftly and through all places visited. We stayed in some amazing accommodation which got better each place that we stayed. The itinerary was very clear, except for no mention about the second lengthy train journey. (Might need to fix this) A very inexpensive tour for what you got. Would highly recommend one of the options for seeing China with G Adventures!
- Shanghai Loop: Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an Chengdu & Beyond
The tour was really insightful and had a great mixture of culture and fun. The tour guides were all great and very helpful. When I first arrived in Shanghai I was quite overwhelmed by the culture shock but I was soon put at ease. The group sizes are great as well and really allow you to make close bonds! I ended up travelling Australia with some now life long friends. I really recommend Dragon Trip. However, be prepared to spend extra on activities. So make sure you have extra spending money as it would be a shame to miss out! Highlights for me- definitely camping on the Great Wall! An amazing experience few are lucky enough to have!!
