- Days 1-2
England & Wales
Leave London early at 8:30 AM to avoid traffic. Visit Stonehenge before 11 AM when it gets busy. Next stop is Bath, where you'll want comfortable shoes for the Roman baths. "The Roman baths are incredible, but bring good shoes as the ancient stones get very slippery." Stay overnight in Cardiff before moving on to Stratford-upon-Avon and Liverpool. Plan about 2-3 hours to explore Beatles sites in Liverpool.

- Days 3-4
Dublin & Eastern Ireland
Catch the morning ferry from Liverpool to Dublin. It takes about 2.5 hours. "Don't miss the evening atmosphere at Temple Bar, but eat dinner elsewhere as prices are inflated in that area." Start your Dublin sightseeing at the Guinness Storehouse when it opens to avoid crowds. The next day, check out Waterford and Blarney Castle. "Go early to kiss the Blarney Stone - lines get very long by midday."

- Days 5-7
Western Ireland
Stay in Killarney to explore the Ring of Kerry. Drive clockwise to avoid tour buses. One visitor shared: "The jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park was a highlight - but bring rain gear as weather changes quickly." Visit the Cliffs of Moher around 4 PM for good light and smaller crowds. Leave time for Galway, especially Shop Street with its traditional music.

- Days 8-9
Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands
- Days 10-11

Northern England & Return

Stay overnight in Inverness.

What people love about 2-week England, Ireland and Scotland tours
- Scottish & Irish Dream - 14 Days/13 Nights
Fantastic Trip! Castles, churches, graveyards, stories, legends, history, double-distilled & triple-distilled whiskey, and my goodness/my guinness were all treasures. Onya, our Scotland guide was fantastic and would play folk music specific to the region we would be driving thru. Darragh, our Ireland guide & driver, gave us a great flavor of his country, and always put our comfort before his. John, our Scotland/N.Ireland/Dublin driver was fun, Safe, courteous, and fun. CIE had a wonderful luxury bus with big windows. CIE's logistics were perfect, with the right amount of time at each stop, with a full day of sight-seeing with the right amount of free time. Thanks Onya, Darragh, & John! Do it; you won't regret your decision!
- Best of UK & Ireland
The tour went on very smoothly as according to the itinerary. There are even some surprises with additional interesting stopover in Caernarfon and extra dinner provided in Dublin. Meals and accommodation provided are very good for the value of the tour fare paid. Strongly recommended for would-be travelers.
- Celtic Highlights
We just got home from this tour. Kudos to Peter Dundon, and Ian, our driver. I think they could coordinate a moon launch with no problem. The hotels were nice, the food was good. The itinerary was brisk - you see a lot but you have to get up and out early. I would never have seen so much if left to my own devices. A word to all the other menopausal ladies out there - they give you a down comforter in every hotel, year-round. Other than that, a truly wonderful experience.
