- Day 1
Overnight Flight to London
- Days 2-4
London
Begin in Westminster with a morning walking tour. "The Westminster walk was perfectly timed—we caught the changing of the guard without fighting massive crowds." You'll walk about 2 miles to see Big Ben, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. Wear good walking shoes. Get some fish and chips for lunch. Borough Market has excellent options. In the afternoon, visit Covent Garden to watch street performers and browse the shops. Want to ride the London Eye? Book a 2 PM slot when lines are shorter and the lighting is good for photos. The Tube is the best way to get around London. Buy an Oyster Card when you arrive and add enough credit for your stay. The Strand Palace Hotel puts you close to most attractions.

- Days 5-8
Paris via Eurostar
The Eurostar train ride to Paris takes 2 hours. Get to St. Pancras station 45 minutes before departure. Pack light since some Paris Metro stations only have stairs. In Paris, you can take a city tour or explore Montmartre. Montmartre means more walking but offers a more local experience. "Taking the funicular up to Sacré-Cœur saved our legs, and the view of Paris was incredible. Go around sunset for the best photos." Saint-Germain-des-Prés is perfect for your free day. Browse the boutiques and relax at local cafes. If you visit Versailles, go early to avoid crowds. On your last night, take a Seine River cruise before dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Visit a bakery in the morning to watch French bakers create perfect croissants. The Crowne Plaza Republique gives you easy access to both tourist spots and local areas.

What people love about 10-day England and France tours
- London and Paris Explorer
I went with my 14 year old granddaughter. She loved London. Was quick to catch on to the workings of the Tube. Really enjoyed live theatre, the London Eye and the shopping. Paris was a postcard anyway we looked. Really enjoyed the sidewalk cafes and the food in general was excellent. We even mastered the Metro.
- London to Barcelona Quest (Standard, Winter ( Until Mar '27), Start London, Classic)
My contiki trip was a trip of a life time, I had the best time, with special thanks to Greg for explaining each place we went to so well and giving tips to every single person depending on what they wanted to see. Also Greg's music playlists were top notch! Thank you Greg and Joao for making such a short trip one I will always remember!
