    Dublin

    Dublin's Trinity College area is best explored in the early morning before the crowds arrive. "The hotel was a convenient 20-minute walk from central Dublin's attractions." Book your Guinness Storehouse tickets ahead of time with flexible timing. You can take a quick taxi ride there from most downtown hotels.     Dublin to Liverpool

    Take the 3.5-hour ferry to Wales in the morning. If you get seasick easily, bring motion sickness medication. You'll stop at Caernarfon Castle for photos of the exterior.
