The 10-day cruise optimizes time in Croatian and Greek ports with strategic morning arrivals and afternoon departures, allowing maximum sightseeing at each stop.
- Days 1-2
Athens
Book afternoon flights to avoid morning traffic congestion. You'll get hotel pickup and transfer on arrival. The next day features a half-day Acropolis tour. Get there by 8 AM to avoid crowds and heat. Bring a water bottle since shade is limited and wear shoes with good grip on those slippery marble steps.

Greek Islands
Head to Piraeus port 2 hours before the 1 PM departure. You'll visit Kefalonia first, where you can tour the stunning Melissani Cave. Visit between 11 AM-1 PM to see sunlight streaming onto the underground lake. Bring water shoes for the slick cave surfaces.

Croatia & Montenegro

From Katakolon, take a 30-minute drive to ancient Olympia. Start at the archaeological site at 8 AM before it heats up, then visit the museum. The cruise returns to Athens early on day 10. Schedule flights after 11 AM to allow time for departure procedures.

Athens, Greece
Get to Piraeus port by early afternoon to avoid Athens traffic. If you arrive early you can store your bags at the port and check out Mikrolimano marina nearby. The local seafood restaurants are excellent for lunch before boarding.

Spend a relaxing morning at sea before exploring Otranto's medieval streets. The cathedral has an amazing 12th-century floor mosaic. Bring a small flashlight to see it better. In the evening take a walk along the waterfront when locals come out for their traditional passeggiata.

Kotor, Montenegro
The morning sail into Kotor's bay is spectacular. Be on deck by 7 AM to see it. You can climb the 1,350 steps up the city walls if you're feeling energetic. Go early and take 2-3 hours for the round trip. Otherwise the Old Town's marble streets are perfect for exploring at a slower pace.

Dubrovnik, Croatia
You have all day here until late evening. Walk the city walls before 10 AM or after 4 PM when it's cooler and less crowded. Skip the main street restaurants for dinner. The smaller places near Pile Gate offer better food and atmosphere.

Mljet & Korčula, Croatia
Start with peaceful Mljet where you can swim or bike around the lakes. Later visit Korčula which locals say is Marco Polo's hometown. The medieval streets are laid out like a fishbone to catch sea breezes. The tower bars in the old walls are perfect for sunset drinks.

Šibenik & Krka National Park
See Krka's waterfalls first thing. The wooden paths get busy later. Bring water shoes if you want to swim. Back in Šibenik visit the Cathedral of St. James before your last dinner onboard.
