What people love about Budget Tours in Peru
- 8 Days Tour: Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu & Puno – Includes Domestic Flights & Vistadome Train
I just returned from an 8-day tour in Peru, and I’m still processing everything I experienced. From day one, I felt cared for and guided by a team that thought of every detail. We began in Lima, where I tasted a ceviche I will honestly never forget. Walking through the historic center at sunset felt like stepping back in time. Then we flew to Cusco, and the thrill of seeing the Andes mountains for the first time was simply indescribable. In the Sacred Valley, we met local artisans who welcomed us with smiles and vibrant colors. In Ollantaytambo, it felt as though every stone had its own story to tell. But the most unforgettable moment was arriving at Machu Picchu—slowly climbing and suddenly seeing the sacred city appear before my eyes… it’s a moment I will treasure forever. We spent our last days in Cusco, wandering cobblestone streets, exploring markets filled with aromas and colors, and relaxing in plazas that made you want to stay for hours. There was time to learn, to laugh, to try new flavors, and to feel the special energy of this country. It was more than just a trip,it was 8 days of discovery, connection, and memories I’ll carry with me for a lifetime.
- 5 days - Arequipa & Colca Canyon & Sillar Stone
From the first click we have been supported and cared for through out the arrangements and whilst in Peru. There was always someone at the end of the phone or can be messaged. We had a great time in Arequipa and the Colca Canyon, with very knowledgeable and caring guides, who could not do enough for us. The views and sights are stunning and like nothing you see elsewhere. We were very lucky to see three condors when at the view point as well as many roaming llama, apacha and vicuna. The guides spoke English brilliantly and if there was any confusion they would work with us until we understood each other (which we are very grateful for). If they recommended certain places to eat or visit I suggest you go. Victor suggested we go to a meal with a show and it was the best night we have had in Peru, we would never have found it otherwise. Also the hot springs are a must! We went in January (rainy season) however it only rained in the evenings and did not spoil the trip at all as we still got to do all we wanted to do.
- Inca Adventure: Cusco, Machu Picchu & the Best Views Ever
awesome! great tour guide, edith was wonderful. a few days felt rushed, but to be expected with a guided tour where everyone is sharing transporation. it felt like we were paying extra for a few things that i thought would be included considering how expensive this tour was. for example on the "extra activities"day we had to pay extra for the bus even though the tour said all transpo was incuded. the hot springs day also felt too rushed because it was a 6 hour round trip bus ride and too far away for only spending 2 hours there. however everything else was pretty great. hotels were wonderful. the boxed lunches were weird and not easy to carry in a day pack. would have preferred a PB&J sandwich. the inca trail was amazing. was glad to get back at a reasonable hour each night so that we could get enough sleep to get up early the next day!
