Me and my Boyfriend recently visited India for the first time and although I don’t normally bother with writing reviews, we had such an amazing experience I wanted to share my experience of our tour of Rajasthan with Golden Bird Journey. Firstly let me summarize: INCREDIBLE BY NAME AND NATURE!!! The team was brilliant, going beyond our expectations of a tour operator. I agree with a previous reviewer - this company provided quick and clear communication and organized an incredible trip! Thanks to Dev (Devendra Kumar - the owner of golden bird journey) for an unforgettable tour. He created a personal plan to really ‘see India’ and made sure that we covered everything and more that I wanted to visit while giving us some personal time which we valued. Everything was well organized (guides, transfers, the driver with car, etc). Dev checked each day with the driver and periodically directly with us to ensure that we were happy. And the price was great value for money with no surprises/hidden extras. Our experience was excellent right from my first contact through to being dropped off at the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. In detail: We wanted to do more than the Golden Triangle and really feel like we ‘saw’ the real India so researched many UK tour companies. Quite a few covered the places that I wanted to see but I either didn’t like the price or the lack of flexibility or in the case of Intrepid – the lack of info on hotels and use of public transport as I was worried about Delhi belly. Glad I didn’t do this after having seen the local buses, especially in the heat of March! To the contrary, we had enjoyed taj mahal - one of the best days ever! Tourradar research and a friend’s advice led me to consider a car and driver option. I was worried about trusting someone through the internet but the more I researched, the more I believed that this was the way to go. I planned my rough itinerary and sent this off to about 5 tour operators including Golden Bird Journey. Although most operators offered similar price, their response was minimal and I didn’t get the feeling that they listened to what type of tour I wanted. I liked Golden Bird Journey from the start as they put effort into my itinerary. Dev was very responsive and quickly understood the kind of travel we enjoy, keeping driving manageable, interesting hotels, local culture, historical sites, rural places, and wildlife and made suggestions and additions accordingly. They confirmed timings and answered all my questions and accommodated changes easily. Planning happened only a few weeks to departure so didn’t leave much time for Dev but this didn’t seem to cause a problem. Dev could have booked all my hotels but as I was running out of time I just panic-booked and he was very understanding. He gave me the name of the appointed driver so I could research reviews and even the registration of the car so I felt reassured. We were met my Farman (lovely guy) with great English and also our driver. They gave us a lovely welcome and time at our hotel before touring Delhi. Our driver, shyam mishra was simply superb! Clean, punctual, helpful, friendly, a careful and alert driver and above all took care of us. He was extremely professional, spoke English much better than expected and good enough to hold interesting conversations during our journeys – he gave us loads of background to Indian culture. He was patient with my continual shouts to stop for a photo and helped me look out for things I wanted to see – such as the bats and mongoose. He gave us advice as to where and what to do. Took us to additional stops which were wonderful. rupees. There was always water in the car and a bucket of sweets. Made ‘clean’ toilet/coffee stops. Always checked if the car was the right temperature etc. He drove amazingly well in the frenetic Indian traffic and never seemed to get riled. He was an absolute sweetie! Overall we had a wonderful time, thank you all! Thanks to Dev for such a wonderful tour (sorry for the late review); to Farman for picking us up and helping through customs and finally thanks to Madan for your unending patience and respect. You are a star. You all offered friendship within a professional environment – a difficult balance to achieve!

Delhi has two part new and old. The capital of India is New Delhi and it is one of the busiest city in India. I booked it last minutes as I found it very reasonable. Tour guide naveen was very friendly and served a great job. Red fort and Friday Mosque was the best place to explore where less people are there. Lovely tour
