What people love about Brazil Tours from Buenos Aires
- Magical Rio & The Mighty Falls 5 Star
I booked a trip to South America through Wanderful. Their reviews were the main reason I chose them, and the reviews were correct. They worked hard to ensure I was happy with the planning and holiday experience. I sent in a number of questions after booking, and the gave prompt responses most every time. They don’t compete on price because they book higher quality tours and hotels. This generally leads to less surprises when on vacation, which is worth it. The only minor improvement would be communication of some details (i.e. who/ how will the next event work). In summary, I would book another vacation with them since they are quite good and aim for high customer satisfaction.
- Brazil and Argentina with Iguazu Falls 4 Star
Wanderful Holidays kept in touch with us throughout the trip via WhatsApp which was very handy. The travel doc also had everything we needed in one spot including operator contact details, times, hotels and pickup times. Airport transfers were always smooth. One of the hotels we had had an issue with check in/ electricity so 1 star lost there, but Wanderful were conducive to feedback. Overall good experience and would book with them again
- Argentina & Brazil Adventure
In November 2017 I did the Intrepid Argentina & Brazil Adventure and the whole thing blew my mind! We had less than 12 people on our trip and the leader Yamila looked after us all as if we were here family even taking us into the suburbs of Buenos Aires to eat at her favorite resteraunt in her local area. It was such a great feeling to be surrounded by locals and not see 1 tourist for the evening. The trip ticked everything that I wanted to see, showed me a side to the cities I would never have seen on my own or in a big group - Yamila even helped me find a ticket to Super Classico which is something I never thought I would have ever been able to attend. This was was such much for than a tour - rather a genuine adventure! Oh and Iguazu is unlike anything I have seen before! You must do the jet boat!

What's the typical length of tours starting in Buenos Aires?
Most Buenos Aires tours run between 7 and 17 days with 2-3 days set aside for the capital city. For example Intrepid Travel's "Best of Argentina & Brazil" tour starts with two full days in Buenos Aires. Visitors spend time at major sites like Plaza de Mayo the historic San Telmo district and Caminito Street in La Boca. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "Loved the tour with our guide Javier doing a really good job showing us around Buenos Aires starting with the resting place of Evita and exploring the city's grand boulevards."
What are the most common starting points for tours in Buenos Aires?
Tours begin from three key areas in Buenos Aires. The elegant Recoleta district houses luxury hotels like Hotel Dazzler San Martin. The Plaza de Mayo area puts visitors close to main attractions while the energetic Palermo neighborhood offers easy access to dining and entertainment. The Sofitel Hotel Buenos Aires Recoleta and Alvear Palace Hotel are frequent choices among travelers. As one reviewer noted: "The hotels were in perfect locations so you could walk everywhere and explore the city's highlights."
What unique cultural experiences are offered on the first days in Buenos Aires?
Visitors can expect authentic local experiences from day one in Buenos Aires. Programs often include professional tango performances at historic venues like El Viejo Almacen in San Telmo tango lessons and traditional Argentine asado barbecue dinners. What are the best day trips available from Buenos Aires at the start of tours?

These excursions offer a glimpse into life beyond the capital. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "The Tigre Delta tour was a perfect start giving us a chance to see the beautiful riverside villas and English gardens while adjusting to the local pace."
What's the typical travel time between Buenos Aires and the next major destinations?

What's the recommended time of year to start a tour from Buenos Aires to Brazil?
The shoulder seasons offer the best conditions for travel. March through May and September through November bring mild temperatures and fewer tourists. Spring months see Buenos Aires decorated with purple jacaranda blooms while autumn provides comfortable conditions for exploring both Argentine and Brazilian destinations. Properties like the Pestana Rio Atlantica and San Telmo Luxury Suites see lower occupancy during these periods. A TourRadar traveler shared: "We started our tour in April and had perfect weather throughout - warm enough for the beaches in Rio but comfortable for sightseeing in Buenos Aires."
