      Start your trip in KL with an easy first afternoon exploring the food spots in Bukit Bintang. Want to visit the Petronas Towers? Book your skybridge tickets online at least 2 weeks before. The best time is between 9-10 AM when lines are shortest. Visit Batu Caves by taking the KTM train (45 minutes for about $1). Get there by 7 AM to avoid crowds and heat. Remember to bring water and wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees for the temples.

      Penang

"The night markets here are incredible - try the satay from the vendors near Jalan Alor," one traveler advised. Get the most out of KL's main attractions in the next few days.
