What people love about Hawaii Tours for Seniors
- Hawaiian Explorer
We were told by Tour Radar that we could not plan “individual outings” before our trip. “Wait until you get there and your tour guide will help you”. At least that was my interpretation. So by the time we got to Hawaii a couple of the events we wanted to participate in were already booked. I was quite disappointed. Our plane was 3 hours late arriving so we never really met fellow travelers. It was the first tour I have been on where I did not know most of the participants. Our Director was awesome but overall this was an OK vacation. Service was great, Mother Nature provided lots of whales but so many things went wrong it will not go down as a memorable experience.

Great tour! Excellent guide! Wonderful time!
What our customers ask about Hawaii Tours for Seniors
What medical facilities are available during Hawaii tours for seniors?
The main tourist areas in Hawaii provide ready access to quality healthcare. You'll find major hospitals in Honolulu Maui and Kona. Tour companies such as Trafalgar and Globus select accommodations near medical facilities. For example the Twin Fin Waikiki and Hyatt Regency Maui Resort are just minutes from hospitals. Tour directors come prepared to handle medical situations and can quickly arrange transport to nearby healthcare centers when needed.
What dining options are available for seniors with dietary restrictions?
Tour packages include daily breakfast and several group dinners that blend local flavors with familiar options. Hotels such as the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Sheraton Kona Resort run multiple restaurants that cater to different dietary needs. A TourRadar traveler noted "The restaurants were very accommodating of special diets especially during the included meals at places like the Hali'imaile General Store on Maui."
Which Hawaiian islands are best suited for senior travelers?
Seniors often find Maui and Oahu most accommodating thanks to their well-developed facilities and easier activities. The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali works well as a home base with its beachfront setting and accessible design. Key attractions that work well for seniors include Pearl Harbor Memorial Iao Valley State Park and coastal drives. A TourRadar traveler shared "Maui was superb with a perfect balance of activities and relaxation time."
What is the best time of year for seniors to visit Hawaii?
Plan your visit during April to May or September to October for temperatures between 75-85°F less humidity and smaller crowds. The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort area sees particularly pleasant conditions in these months. Winter (December-March) brings more rain but offers chances to spot whales especially from Maui's Kaanapali Beach area.
