What people love about Wildlife Tours in Middle East
- Pyramids Tales (GEM) and Nile Cruise Of Dreams : 7-Days in Egypt
Our 7-day tour was great to see the must visits sites in Egypt such as the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. The Nile cruise, was absolutely breathtaking. The highlight for me was the sunset sail on the Nile; it was peaceful and gave us a chance to relax ,Our guide was very informative, and we appreciated how well-planned the entire tour was by Eyad and Mahmoud the operators. We got to see everything we had wanted. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
- Golden Egypt tour: 14 Day luxury (Cairo GEM & Alexandria & White desert & Nile cruise & Hurghada)
Our expectations were totally exceeded by this seven-day vacation of Egypt! The service was excellent from the start. Seeing the pyramids in person was an event that will never be forgotten; they were truly breathtaking. There were several chances to unwind while taking in the breathtaking views during the lovely day spent boating the Nile. Our guide provided great explanations of every site we visited, The dinner was amazing on the Cruise and the accommodations were excellent. We also loved having the flexibility to explore at our own pace.
- Egypt and Jordan Charms: 14-Day Tour with, Nile Cruise, White Desert, Petra and Dead Sea
We 15 friends had a memorable Uganda safari with Four Crane safaris guides, the highlights for our 7 days were gorillas and Chimpanzees, first day we arrived at Entebbe airport and the guides were waiting for us with customized safari landcruisers. They briefed us on the distance we are going to drive to Hotel in Entebbe, this is where our smile started, we were booked in a good luxurious Hotels. Next morning we drove into Kibale forest national park, we did cultural experience in the evening, enjoyed dancing and participated in it too, it was an amazing Adventure we have never had. We did Chimpanzee trekking next morning then proceeded to Queen Elizabeth national park where we did game drives and boat cruise, finally we reached to Bwindi on our day 5 where we did gorilla trekking on day 6, gorillas were so amazing they are human like. Guides explained to us in details. Our safari adventure to this African country with Four Crane safaris was memorable. Many thanks to organizers and guides.
What our customers ask about Wildlife Tours in Middle East
What types of wildlife can I expect to see in the Middle East?
The Middle East's varied landscapes support an array of distinctive wildlife. In Jordan, the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve protects endangered Arabian Oryx Persian Onagers and Imperial Eagles. Visitors to Egypt's Fayoum Oasis encounter desert-adapted species including crocodiles lizards and seasonal bird migrations. The Dana Nature Reserve stands out for its population of threatened Nubian Ibex caracal and the largest breeding colony of Syrian Serin birds in the world. Places like the Feynan Eco Lodge in Dana serve as ideal bases for wildlife observation giving guests front-row access to the region's natural inhabitants.
When is the best time to go on a Wildlife tour in Middle East?
Wildlife viewing conditions in the Middle East peak during specific seasons. The Dana Nature Reserve in Jordan sees most wildlife activity during spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) when Nubian Ibex and Syrian Serin birds are most active. For Egyptian wildlife experiences the cooler winter months from October through March provide comfortable temperatures for desert exploration and bird watching. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "We spotted amazing wildlife in our game drives at Lake Qarun and the weather was perfect for exploring."
What's the best way to photograph wildlife in the Middle East?
Wildlife photography in the Middle East works best during the soft light of dawn and dusk when animals are most active. Local guides at locations like Wadi El Rayan and Dana Nature Reserve know the optimal spots for photography. Properties such as the Desert Rose Lodge in Wadi Rum position guests near prime wildlife areas. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Our guide knew exactly where to position us for the best wildlife shots especially during the magical golden hour."
What's the accommodation like on Wildlife tours in the Middle East?
Middle Eastern wildlife tours offer diverse lodging options that balance comfort with location. The solar-powered Feynan Eco Lodge in Jordan's Dana Reserve provides sustainable luxury while Egypt's wildlife regions feature upscale options like the Lazib Inn Resort & Spa near Fayoum Oasis. Desert locations often include well-appointed camps such as the Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp where guests enjoy modern amenities while staying close to wildlife viewing areas.
How close can we get to the wildlife during tours?
Safety protocols determine wildlife viewing distances throughout the Middle East. Shaumari Reserve in Jordan uses designated platforms and specialized vehicles for observing Arabian Oryx. At Fayoum Oasis professional guides from places like Lazib Inn Resort enforce appropriate viewing distances. "The guides were excellent at helping us spot wildlife while maintaining respectful distances" reported one TourRadar traveler.
What makes Middle Eastern Wildlife tours unique compared to other regions?
Middle Eastern wildlife tours combine desert environments rare species and historical landmarks in ways other regions cannot match. Unlike traditional African safaris these experiences focus on species such as Arabian Oryx and Syrian Serin across varied terrains from wetlands to desert reserves. Many tours integrate stays at historic properties like the Movenpick Resort Petra with nearby wildlife viewing. One TourRadar traveler remarked: "The mix of ancient history and wildlife viewing made this experience totally different from other wildlife tours we've done."
