- Barbara· October 11th, 2022Very nice intense tour; you have the chance to see all the imperial cities and spend a night in the desert. Some stops along the road could be optimized, like for example Toudra Gorge could be shorter. Overall recommended.Show moreNomadic Tours commented on this reviewThank you for your review of our Morocco Highlights tour of Morocco. - NZNadja· December 16th, 2019We were a group of 9 in a minibus, we felt safe, we were taken to places that I would never have been able to go to without local knowledge of the area and people. Our guide Mustafa was very knowledgable and spoke good English. Our driver had a calm temperament and navigated the Atlas Mountains with skill, he was also very pleasant and musical and joined in the many dancing activities as well as played the tabla with the locals. I wish I had the time to stay longer in some of the beautiful places we stayed at. Planning to revisit with a group of family and friendsShow moreNomadic Tours commented on this reviewDear Nadja, We are very pleased to hear your feedback and glad you enjoyed the Highlights Morocco has to offer. I have sent on to Mustapha which will make him happy. Hope to see you and your family and friends again. The Nomadic TeamTrip date: December 2019

- DGDev· January 4th, 2018On reflection I would have picked a different tour that did not travel such long distances and that gave you lots of free time to explore areas by yourself - but I had a limited time frame and this tour ticked all the boxes. Many of the travellers fell ill due to the long bus trips on the small 17-seater bus. My back is still feeling the pain. We had 17 people on the tour and every seat was taken, and the bus completely at it's maximum load - including the very squashed luggage area. We did cover a lot of the country and saw some wonderful things - the Roman Ruins at Voubilis, the Todra Gorge and the Sahara desert area are amongst my favourite. Avoid the Berber camp in winter if you can. Two of the hotels on this tour were good, one average and the rest below average. Hotel Andalous in Marrakech kept ypou awake till 1 am with their loud disco. The guide was good and the driver, Ali was a patient man and an excellent driver. The tour needs to allow participants more free time to explore areas by themselves. Many of the local tours by the local tour guides were rushed and not pleasant. I suggest spending 3 extra days in Marrakech by yourself to check out the best restaurants, the newer areas and the night life. The tour tends to focus on the old and the historical, and misses out on the new and exciting features of Morocco. You end up with a distorted view of Morocco. The week-end shows at the Buddha Bar in Marrakech are a must-see - a class venue - 10/10. Obviously this is not on the tour package. The food on the tour was average and the Tour to the "Factories" are a bit of a take as you can buy the things they sell you at these places a lot cheaper elsewhere. Two restaurants in Marrakech that are worth visiting by yourself are El Fassia and the Nomad Restaurant. The best food I had whilst in Morocco.Show moreNomadic Tours commented on this reviewThank you for your constructive comments. We are glad you still enjoyed some aspects of the tour and that the guide and driver provided an excellent service.Trip date: December 2017
