Itinerary
- Day 1
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll get picked up with a packed lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, so keep an eye out for those along with buffaloes and elephants. Around midday you'll stop for lunch at a picnic site, then head south where you'll spot hot springs and hippos. The birdwatching here is really good too, with pelicans, cormorants, and massive flocks of flamingoes. As the day winds down, you'll drive to Twiga campsite for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After checking out and having early breakfast with a packed lunch, you'll transfer down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for full-day game viewing. The crater teems with wildlife, so you can expect thousands of flamingoes and other water birds, plus big game like endangered black rhinos, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Predators are around too, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. You'll break for lunch at a picnic site midday, then keep viewing through late afternoon. Before heading back to Arusha town, you'll drive back up out of the crater.
