Fes to Erfoud
You'll head south today through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing through Ifrane and seeing cedar forests along the way. The drive takes you to Erfoud for the night, so you'll have time to stretch out and see the landscape change as you move deeper into the region.

Landmarks Middle Atlas Ifrane - Day 5
Erfoud to Merzouga Desert
Continue south to Merzouga, and in the late afternoon you'll get on a camel for a sunset ride across the dunes. After that, you'll head to a desert camp where you'll spend the night under the stars, which is pretty different from what most people experience back home.

Merzouga to Boumalne Dades
The drive today takes you through the Sahara region with a stop at Todra Gorge, where the rock formations rise up dramatically around you. From there you'll continue to Dades Valley, which has its own striking landscape and gives you a chance to see different parts of the desert.

Dades to Ouarzazate
