Diani Beach - Kaya Kinondo
Your guide picks you up for a short 10 km drive to Kaya Kinondo sacred forest, a protected woodland near Diani Beach. Once there, you'll get an orientation on the forest's cultural importance and how to move respectfully through the space. Then you're walking the shaded trails with a community guide who explains the history tied to ancestral spirits, points out sacred trees and medicinal plants, and shares information about local rituals. Later in the day, you'll stop at a Digo homestead or visit a handicraft stall where artisans are working, giving you a chance to see traditional customs firsthand and talk with the people living there.
