Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and get your first taste of the Christmas season. The old town has narrow streets lined with holiday decorations, and there's plenty to see depending on what interests you. The museums here are worth your time if you want to spend a few hours inside, or you can walk through the Christmas markets where local vendors sell crafts and seasonal treats. If you prefer something quieter, find a cozy café and watch the festive crowds go by with a warm drink.

- Day 2
Stockholm to Kiruna
Spend your second day continuing through Stockholm at your own pace. You might hit the shops for last-minute gifts or circle back to the Christmas market if something caught your eye yesterday. Later in the afternoon, head to the train station for the overnight journey north. You'll board the night train heading to Kiruna with a private sleeping compartment, so you can rest as the landscape transforms from city to Arctic wilderness.

Kiruna
After arriving in Kiruna, a transfer takes you to the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasfjarvi. This place is built entirely from snow and ice every year, so the architecture is genuinely unique. Before settling in for the night, you'll have time to look around the area and get used to the environment. Later you'll check into your ice room, which comes with insulated sleeping bags designed to keep you comfortable through the Arctic night.

Kiruna
The morning starts early with a wake-up call and hot lingonberry juice to get you going, followed by a proper breakfast and time in the sauna to warm up. In the afternoon, you'll try an ice sculpting course where you can work with local artists to create something from the ice around you. After that, you get to meet Santa Claus, which is a fun part of the holiday experience. Later in the evening, the Northern Lights adventure begins by snowmobile, or if you prefer, there's a photography experience to capture the lights if they appear.
