Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Kathmandu Airport and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. Check-in happens around 2:00 PM, so you'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to yourself. This is a good time to rest after traveling and get settled into your room before things get busy.

Kathmandu
This morning you'll head to Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu site dedicated to Shiva that sits along the Bagmati River. After that, you're off to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist complexes in Nepal. Later in the afternoon, you'll check out Patan Durbar Square to see the old royal palace and the Golden Temple, a 12th century Buddhist monastery that's really something to see.

Kathmandu
Start this morning exploring Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO site with ancient temples, palaces and courtyards dating back several centuries. Then you'll head west to Swayambhunath Stupa, situated on a hilltop overlooking the city. This religious complex is one of Nepal's oldest, going back to the 5th century, so there's a lot of history packed into one spot.
