Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
Start in Casablanca by seeing the Hassan II Mosque, which sits right on the Atlantic coast and is quite impressive. Then head to Rabat to walk through the Oudaya Kasbah, check out the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and see the gates of the Royal Palace. After grabbing lunch, you'll drive through some smaller towns on your way to Chefchaouen. Once you arrive, wander around the blue-painted alleyways and settle into your riad for the night.

- Day 2
Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, take your time walking through Chefchaouen's blue streets before driving to Volubilis. There you'll explore the Roman archaeological site with its mosaics and ruins, which is a UNESCO World Heritage spot. From there, continue to Meknes and visit Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani, the Royal Stables, granaries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. You'll arrive in Fes later in the day and check into your traditional riad.

- Day 3
Fes
This day focuses on Fes, which is really the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. You'll have a local guide with you, starting at the Royal Palace gate and then moving through the medieval medina of Fes el Bali. See Bab Boujloud, the Bou Inania Madrasa, Najjarine Fountain, the tanneries (which are quite something), and the historic University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine. You'll also visit the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. Later, head to a panoramic viewpoint to see the entire city spread out below. The evening's yours to relax back at your riad.

Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Merzouga
After breakfast, head south toward Ifrane, which people call the Switzerland of Morocco because of its cool weather and European-style buildings. Stop at the cedar forest in Azrou to see Barbary macaques living among the trees. Grab lunch in Midelt, then drive through the dramatic Tizi-n-Talghamt Pass and the scenic Ziz Valley heading toward the Sahara. You'll reach Merzouga in the afternoon for a camel ride through the dunes, catch the sunset from a high dune, then settle into your luxury desert camp. End the day with Berber music around the campfire under the stars.

Wake early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast before leaving the desert. Head to Rissani, which was once the capital of Tafilalet and has a traditional souk. Stop in Erfoud, known for fossil workshops, then travel through palm groves to the Todra Gorges with their impressive canyon walls. This spot is great for climbers and nature lovers. After exploring and having lunch, continue to the Dades Valley, which has dramatic rock formations including the 'Monkey Fingers.' Dinner and overnight at a local hotel.

Drive to the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M'Gouna, where rose products and local cosmetics get made during spring. Continue through Skoura's palm groves to Ouarzazate, where you can optionally check out film studios that have hosted Hollywood productions. Then travel to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar that you might recognize from movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring this fortified village, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass with stops for photos and lunch. You'll arrive in Marrakech by evening.

Marrakech
After breakfast, explore Marrakech if time allows before your transfer (it depends on your flight schedule). The city has the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the lively medina. Depending on when you're leaving, you'll get transferred to either Marrakech Airport or Casablanca for your flight home. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
