Managua to Ometepe Island
You'll head from Managua to San Jorge port and catch the ferry over to Ometepe Island. Once you arrive and get settled into your accommodations, the rest of the day is open for you to either kick back on the beach or do some exploring around the island on your own terms.

Ometepe Island
This day is dedicated to a guided hike up Maderas Volcano. You'll walk through the island's volcanic terrain with a packed lunch included to keep you fueled. By the time you get back down, you'll have the afternoon free to rest up or continue wandering around the island if you've got the energy.

Ometepe Island to Managua
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out to Ojo de Agua, which is a natural spring-fed pool area with tropical gardens all around it where you can get in for a swim. Then you'll return to pack up, check out, and transfer back to Managua.
