You'll arrive in Korea and get transferred to your hotel. Once you settle in, the afternoon brings a briefing about what's ahead on your tour.

- Day 2
Busan
Start the day at Haedong Yonggung Temple right by the sea, then head to the UN Memorial Cemetery to pay respects. Next, you'll walk through Korea's largest fish market near Nampo Port before grabbing lunch. After that, stroll through Yongdusan Park to see the 120-meter pagoda, take the marine cable car at Songdo Beach, and wander around Gamcheon Culture Village checking out art galleries and cafes.

Busan - Gyeongju - Daegu
Travel to the Seokguram Buddhist Grotto, an 8th-century site carved into Tohamsan's slopes, then visit Bulguksa Temple. Continue on to Gyeongju, Korea's capital for 992 years under 56 kings, where you'll photograph the wooden Woljeonggyo Bridge. After lunch, explore Tumuli Park's royal burial mounds and check out Cheomsongdae, East Asia's oldest astronomical observatory (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The day ends in Daegu after passing through Dongsan Cheongna Hill and the busy commercial street of Dongseong-ro.

- Day 4
Daegu - Andong - Seoul
Begin in Daegu at the Yangnyeongsi Museum of Traditional Medicine and the surrounding Herbal Medicine Market known for ginseng. Head north to Andong and visit Hahoe Village (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a traditional settlement with the Hahoe Mask Museum showing masks from around the world. After lunch locally, see the 16th-century Byeongsan Seowon Confucian Academy beside a quiet river. You'll arrive in Seoul by late afternoon.

- Day 5
Seoul
Leave early for Cheorwon and the DMZ. You'll explore the Second Tunnel, dug by North Korea and found in 1975, then visit Cheorwon Peace Observatory for panoramic DMZ views and a Korean War museum. See the abandoned Woljeong-ri railway station and Baek Ma Battle Memorial honoring French UN soldiers. After lunch, visit a makgeolli producer to learn about traditional rice liquor. Later in Seoul, check out City Hall, see the lit Deoksugung Palace, walk through Myeongdong shopping district, have included dinner, then take the metro back to your hotel.

- Day 6
Seoul
You'll spend five hours touring Seoul, starting at Changdeokgung Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its large park. Pass by Bukchon Hanok Village's traditional homes, then go through the War Memorial of Korea museum learning about Korea's conflicts and the Korean War. After lunch, head to Gangnam District for shopping and entertainment, then stop at Lotte World Tower (550 meters) where you can go up on your own (ticket costs extra) or explore the park and luxury malls. You'll return to the hotel with free time.

- Day 7
Seoul - Suwon - Jeonju
Start at Gyeongbokgung Palace, which has over 600 years of history and sometimes shows the ceremonial guard change. Leave Seoul heading south to Suwon, the former capital with its impressive UNESCO World Heritage walls and Hwaseong Haenggung summer palace. After lunch, continue to Jeonju to explore its historic center (Hanok Village) with traditional houses, shops, and art galleries.

- Day 8
Jeonju - Damyang - Busan
Head out for Sunchang Gochujang Village at Mount Amisan's base, where traditional makers craft Korean chili paste using centuries-old methods in hanok houses with clay pots around them. You'll try making this famous sauce yourself. Then travel to Damyang to walk through the Juknokwon Bamboo Forest and see the Bamboo Museum with different bamboo products. Lunch includes rice cooked inside a bamboo stalk. Continuing through mountain landscapes, you'll reach Haeinsa, one of Korea's most important Buddhist temples (UNESCO World Heritage Site) built in 802 and holding 80,000 wooden tablets with Buddhist scriptures. The day ends in Busan.
