- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and check into your hotel, which overlooks the Nile River. It's a chance to settle in and get your bearings after your travel. This evening, you can relax at the hotel or take a walk around the area to start getting familiar with the city.

Cairo to Alexandria
An air-conditioned train takes you north to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast. You'll visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, underground burial chambers with a mix of Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles, then head to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern library built near where the ancient one stood. After checking in, you'll have a welcome dinner with your tour director.

- Day 3
Alexandria
The day starts with a trip to Rosetta, where the famous Rosetta Stone was discovered back in 1799. You'll return to Alexandria to see the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fort right on the water, and the Greco-Roman Museum, which holds artifacts spanning centuries of Greek and Roman history in the region.

Alexandria to Giza
You'll spend the morning at El Alamein, learning about the pivotal World War II battle fought there, and visit the war museum and Commonwealth Cemetery to pay respects. Later, you'll travel to Giza and settle into your hotel. As evening comes, you'll have drinks while watching the sun set over the pyramids.

Giza
This morning focuses on the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, iconic structures you can see up close. In the afternoon, you'll spend time at the Grand Egyptian Museum checking out artifacts from King Tutankhamun's tomb and the Solar Boat, a restored wooden barge from around 2500 BC.

Giza to Luxor
You'll fly to Luxor and check in at your hotel. From there, you'll go to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the world's largest religious sites, where you can walk through the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns covered in hieroglyphic carvings.

Luxor
Today takes you to the Valley of the Nobles, where hundreds of tombs are carved into the rock cliffs. Inside, you'll see colorful frescoes and wall paintings showing daily life, farming, trade, and cultural practices of ancient Egypt's nobles and their families.

Luxor
You'll board the Sanctuary Sun Boat III and sail across the Nile to the West Bank. There you'll explore the Valley of the Kings with its well-preserved tombs and hieroglyphics, see where archaeologist Howard Carter lived during his excavations, and visit the impressive monument of Queen Hatshepsut built into the cliffs.

Luxor to Dendera
Cruising along the Nile, you can observe life on the riverbanks as people go about their daily routines. You'll visit the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, one of Egypt's best-preserved temple complexes with intricate reliefs, then return to Luxor to see the Luxor Temple with its massive statues of Ramesses II.

Dendera to Kom Ombo
The boat continues south along routes once used by ancient pharaohs. You'll see the Esna Temple with its well-preserved hypostyle hall, then Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple on the eastern bank honoring both Sobek and Horus. That evening, there's a galabeyya party on board with Egyptian food, music, and dancing.

Kom Ombo to Aswan
You'll cruise south to Aswan, known for its Nubian culture. The Temple of Isis at Philae shows how Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles blended together. Later, you'll sail on a felucca, a traditional wooden sailboat, and enjoy a Nubian dance performance followed by a farewell dinner with the captain and crew.

Aswan
You'll leave the boat in Aswan and check into your hotel for two nights. This evening, you can have drinks before dinner. There are three freechoice options for exploring: the Nubian Museum, a visit to a Nubian village, or a trip to Kalabsha Temple on the shores of Lake Nasser.

Aswan to Abu Simbel
A flight takes you to Abu Simbel to see the massive temples of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari. These World Heritage sites have colossal statues and detailed carvings telling the story of Ramses' reign. They were carefully moved in the 1960s to save them from being flooded by Lake Nasser.

Abu Simbel to Cairo
You'll fly back to Cairo for a two-night stay at your hotel, positioned well for exploring the city. Today you'll visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, particularly the Royal Mummies' Hall where preserved remains of ancient pharaohs are on display.
