Itinerary
- Day 1
Christchurch
You'll land at Christchurch Airport and get transferred into the city center to check into your hotel. Once you're settled, spend the rest of the day getting to know the Garden City at your own pace. The tree-lined streets are nice for walking, and you can wander through the parks or take some quiet time by the Avon River if you want to relax after your flight.

- Day 2
Christchurch
This day is all about seeing Christchurch from different angles. You'll hop on and off the heritage tram system throughout the day with an all-day pass, then later take a punting tour down the Avon River through the Botanic Gardens. After that, ride the Gondola cablecar up to the Port Hills, where you get panoramic views of the city and the surrounding landscape stretching out below you.

- Hop on and off the Christchurch Heritage Tram with all-day pass and live commentary (50 minutes approx. for a full circuit, 18 stops at key inner city highlights)
- Punting tour on the Avon River through the Christchurch Botanic Gardens (30 minutes approx. on a shared ride)
- Christchurch Gondola cablecar to the Port Hills with panoramic views, walking tracks, discovery ride, licensed cafe and gift shop (2-3 hours recommended including travel from central city)

- Day 3
Lyttelton - Akaroa
A private minivan picks you up from Lyttelton with a local driver taking you toward Akaroa. You'll stop at scenic photo spots along the way over Gebbes Pass. Once in Akaroa, you can choose between a 2.5 hour guided sea kayak tour or an ebike tour to explore the area. After your activity, you'll have time to shop around and grab lunch or coffee at the boutique cafes before heading back to your ship.

The morning is yours to spend however you'd like in Christchurch. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens, duck into some local boutiques, or find a riverside cafe and relax with a coffee. Later, you'll make your way to the airport at the arranged time for your onward flight.
