Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Mihn City and head straight to your hotel in the city center. After you check in and get settled, there's time to wander around if you feel up to it. The streets here are pretty lively with motorbikes everywhere, colorful markets scattered throughout, and Vietnamese coffee culture on every corner. It's a good chance to get a feel for the city right away.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi
Early start for the drive northwest to Cu Chi, which takes about 1.5 hours for roughly 60km. A guide will take you through the Cu Chi Tunnels, a 200-kilometer network that runs underground. You'll see storage facilities and weapons factories, learn the history, and try some local wartime foods. After watching a documentary, you'll head back to the hotel around 1:30 PM.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
You'll take a bus to My Tho city and stop at the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta along the way. From there, boat trips on the Mekong River take you to a coconut island in Ben Tre, where you can see how village life actually works at a local family home. You'll taste tropical fruits, honey tea, and honey wine while learning about coconut candy production and local handicrafts. After a special Vietnamese lunch, you'll get back to Saigon by 5:00 PM.

This day is yours to spend however you like around Ho Chi Minh City. If you want to check out the major sites, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market are all options. Or if you'd rather take it easy, there are cozy cafes to settle into, spa treatments available, or you can just take a sunset walk along the Saigon River.

You have free time one last time to explore Ho Chi Minh City before you leave. Take a final walk through the busy streets, grab any last souvenirs you missed, or sit down for a final cup of Vietnamese coffee. When it's time, you'll get a transfer to the airport for your flight out.
