Itinerary
- Day 1
Bali to Banyuwangi
You'll start with a 9:00 AM hotel pickup and drive through Bali's rice fields and coastal roads, passing West Bali National Park along the way. The route takes you to Gilimanuk port where you'll catch a ferry to Java (roughly 1 hour crossing). Once in Banyuwangi, you'll explore the city by pedicab, stopping at Blambangan park and checking out the traditional market. Lunch at a local restaurant is included in your day.

Mount Ijen Trek to Probolinggo
A midnight pickup at 12:30 AM gets you to Mount Ijen's Pos Paltuding parking area for the trek. You'll hike about 2 hours covering 3.5 kilometers to reach the peak and see the blue flame and crater. After a coffee break back at Pos Paltuding, you'll drive to your hotel for breakfast. Later in the day you'll head to Probolinggo City where lunch at a local restaurant wraps up your morning and early afternoon.

Mount Bromo Sunrise to Bali
Starting at 3:00 AM, you'll take a 4WD Jeep to Penanjakan for sunrise viewing. The trek to the summit lets you watch the sun come up, and you'll then visit the volcano caldera with its distinctive moon-like landscape covered in grey ash and often misty. Back at your hotel you'll have breakfast and time to rest. After that you'll drive to Banyuwangi for lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer back to Bali.
