Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
You'll be picked up at Marrakech Menara Airport and transferred to your hotel. This is your arrival day, so settle in and get oriented to the city.
- Day 2
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Starting early at 8 AM, you'll head east through the High Atlas Mountains with several stops for photos along the way. You'll pass through Aït Barka at 1500m and then climb up to Tizi N'tichka pass at 2600m/8530 feet. A local guide takes you through Kasbah Telouet before you reach the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou fortified village. After lunch, the drive continues toward Klaa Mgouna in the Rose Valley and finishes near the Dades Canyons in Boumalne Dades by evening.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll depart at 9:30 AM and drive along the Road of 1001 Kasbahs heading toward Tinghir and Todgha. The main activity here is walking through the Todgha Gorges, where dramatic cliff-sided river canyons surround you. You'll stop at a Berber house to see how traditional rugs are made, then take a 15-minute tour of the khettaras irrigation channel system. Later, continue to Erfoud, which is known for fossils, and finish the day with a camel trek at sunset leading to your luxury desert camp near Merzouga.

Merzouga to Fez
Departing at 9 AM from the desert camp, you'll head toward Fez crossing the Ziz Valley through Errachidia with three planned stops along the way. These include Atlas mountain photo opportunities, a viewpoint through dense palm canopies, and a visit to an oasis. Lunch happens at Hotel Taddart in Midelt. From there, you'll drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains with brief stops in Azrou, Imouzzer, and Ifrane (sometimes called the Switzerland of Morocco) for mountain photos and garden visits before arriving at your Fez riad in the early afternoon.

Fez
A local guide meets you at 10 AM to explore Fes, Morocco's oldest imperial city. You'll see three distinct areas: Fes el-Bali (the original old town and UNESCO site), Fes el-Jedid (the 13th-century section), and Ville Nouvelle (the modern quarter). Highlights include Medersa Bou Inania, Al-Attarine Madrasa where they teach perfume-making, Palais Royal Dar El Makhzen, Chaouwara Tannery, and Ain Nokbi pottery district. You'll break for lunch at a medina restaurant of your choice, and the evening is left free to rest or explore on your own.

After breakfast, you'll depart at 10 AM and wind through the scenic Atlas Mountains toward Chefchaouen. A few stops break up the drive for refreshments and to take in the mountain scenery. Lunch happens en route before you arrive at your hotel by mid-afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to rest or wander around the town.

Chefchaouen to Rabat to Casablanca
This morning you'll visit Chefchaouen, the blue city, then head south to Rabat, Morocco's capital. Depending on your arrival time, you may see the Kasbah of Rabat and the Mosque of Mohamed V. Continuing on to Casablanca, you'll check out the Hassan II Mosque and explore other city attractions including the old medina and the Corniche of Ain el Diab.

Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll depart early at 6 AM from Casablanca and drive for 2 hours 30 minutes to reach Marrakech. Upon arrival, you'll spend 4 hours with an English-speaking local guide (certified by the Ministry of Tourism) exploring Marrakech's palaces, gardens, and notable sites. The tour includes the Medina, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Dar Si Said, Souks, Majorelle Gardens, Saadien's Tombs, Jemaa El Fna Square, and Museum of Marrakech. Lunch is at a medina restaurant with guide recommendations available if you need them.
