Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Brussels
You'll arrive at Brussels International Airport and head to your hotel to get settled. Once you've dropped your bags, wander around the city at your own pace and get a feel for the neighborhood. By evening, walk over to Grand-Place where the lights are on and grab dinner at one of the local restaurants nearby. It's a good way to ease into the trip after traveling.

Brussels Christmas Markets
Grab breakfast at your hotel before heading to Grand-Place for the Winter Wonders festival. The afternoon is for browsing the Christmas markets as you walk from Grand-Place toward Place Sainte-Catherine and Marché aux Poissons, trying Belgian chocolates, waffles, and other seasonal food along the way. Later in the evening, catch the sound and light show at Grand-Place, which is particularly nice during the holiday season.

Brussels Landmarks and Museums
Have breakfast at your hotel, then head to the Atomium for views across Brussels and check out Mini-Europe next door where you'll see miniature versions of European landmarks. After lunch, come back to the city center and spend time at Mont des Arts, the Royal Palace, and the Magritte Museum. You'll also want to find Manneken Pis before finishing up by walking through the decorated Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, which is really worth seeing.

Departure from Brussels
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Brussels International Airport for your flight home. Arrange for hotel pickup about 4 hours before your departure time, which gives you plenty of time to get through the airport without rushing.
