Itinerary
- Day 1
Denpasar to Jakarta
A driver picks you up from your Bali hotel and takes you to Ngurah Rai International Airport. Once you arrive in Jakarta after your flight, a local representative meets you and handles your transfer to the hotel. You'll check in and settle in for the night.
Landmarks/POIs Ngurah Rai International Airport - Day 2
Jakarta to Pangkalanbun to Tanjung Harapan
After breakfast at the hotel, you're shuttled to Jakarta Airport for your flight to Pangkalanbun. Your guide meets you there and takes you to Kumai River for a two-hour cruise heading to Tanjung Harapan. Along the way you might see orangutans, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and various tropical birds. Dinner happens on board the Klotok boat, where you'll also spend the night.

- Scenic two-hour cruise on Kumai River to Tanjung Harapan with wildlife observation
- Wildlife spotting including orangutans, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and tropical birds
Landmarks/POIs Kumai River Tanjung Harapan - Day 3
Tanjung Harapan to Pondok Tanggui to Camp Leakey
Starting with breakfast on the boat, you cruise for about an hour to Pondok Tanggui and take a short walk to watch orangutans being fed at 07:00. From there, it's another two-hour cruise to Camp Leakey, a research and rehabilitation center for wild and semi-wild orangutans. That evening you go on a night river trip to catch fireflies glowing along the riverbank. The Klotok boat is your home again tonight.

- Short walk to observe orangutan feeding session at 07:00

Landmarks/POIs Pondok Tanggui Camp Leakey - Day 4
Camp Leakey to Pesalat
Following breakfast on the boat, you visit Pesalat, a reforestation area working on rainforest restoration and helping young orangutans return to the wild. Your guide explains the conservation efforts protecting the forest and supporting wildlife rehabilitation. You'll stay another night aboard the Klotok.

Landmarks/POIs Pesalat Reforestation Area - Day 5
Pesalat to Pangkalanbun to Denpasar
After breakfast on the boat, you cruise back to Pangkalanbun and board your return flight. When you land at Denpasar Airport, your guide is waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Bali.
