- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and head to your hotel to settle in. After getting situated, there's free time before meeting your guide. Later in the evening, a transfer takes you to Plaza Mayor and La Latina where you can choose dinner from Spanish, Indian, Chinese, or Middle Eastern restaurants.

- Day 2
Madrid
A guided tour covers central Madrid's main sights including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. From there, you'll walk through Retiro Park to see the lake and Palacio de Cristal. The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where Real Madrid plays, is next on the schedule. You'll have afternoon free time before a transfer returns you to the hotel.

- Day 3
Madrid to Granada
Early morning departure heads south through La Mancha toward Puerto Lápice, a village connected to Don Quixote stories. After crossing the Despeñaperros pass into Andalusia, you'll reach Granada with lunch included along the way. In the afternoon, if you booked the Alhambra option, a local guide takes you through Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens.

- Day 4
Granada to Seville
Leaving Granada, the drive passes through Sierra Nevada mountains and down to the Mediterranean coast near Nerja with its impressive cliffs. Later you'll reach Málaga on the Costa del Sol for lunch and time to walk the historic center. The route then goes inland through Andalusian hills to Ronda, a white town known for its dramatic gorge. You'll arrive in Seville late afternoon with dinner at your hotel.

- Day 5
Seville
A guided city tour of Seville shows the cathedral and its Giralda bell tower, the Guadalquivir River banks, and neighborhoods like Santa Cruz and Triana. After the tour, an included boat ride travels along the river with panoramic views of the city. Later in the evening, you have the option to catch a flamenco tablao performance.

- Day 6
Seville to Lisbon
You'll leave Seville and travel through rolling hills and farmland toward Extremadura. In Mérida, explore the Archaeological Ensemble with its well-preserved Roman Theater and Amphitheater, both UNESCO-listed sites. After lunch and a walk through the historic pedestrian center, the journey continues into Portugal. Évora, another World Heritage Site with whitewashed streets and Renaissance palaces, is the next stop before arriving in Lisbon for the evening.

- Day 7
Lisbon
A guided tour shows Lisbon's seven hills with charming streets and historic tiles. You'll visit Belem, where 15th-century Portuguese explorers departed on voyages. The afternoon is free to explore Bairro Alto and its viewpoint. An optional day trip goes to nearby Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. Later you'll return to the hotel from Restauradores Square with its lively bars and cafes.

- Day 8
Lisbon to Porto
Traveling north through Portugal, you'll pass through Fátima, an important Catholic pilgrimage location. Porto comes next as the country's second-largest city. After lunch, a 50-minute cruise on a traditional Rabelo boat goes down the Douro River showing the city's riverside. Free time lets you explore the medieval Ribeira district with its narrow streets, old merchant houses, and small cafes before heading to your hotel.

- Day 9
Porto to Santiago de Compostela
The route goes through landscape toward Braga where you'll ride the world's oldest water-operated cable car up to Bom Jesus Sanctuary with views of the area. Coming down is via a scenic staircase. Next is Cambados in Galicia's Rías Baixas region. A glass-bottom boat trip on the Ría de Arousa teaches about mussel and oyster farming with wine and mussel tasting on board. You'll reach Santiago de Compostela by lunchtime for a guided walk through medieval streets and pilgrimage sites.

Santiago de Compostela to Madrid
Following the Way of St. James, you'll stop in Lugo to see the town center and the impressive Roman Walls, a UNESCO site. O Cebreiro, a charming Galician stone village, comes next. Arriving in León by lunchtime, you'll visit the Gothic cathedral with its stained-glass windows and take a walk through the historic center. Around 5:00 p.m. the drive back to Madrid begins, arriving around 9:00 p.m.
