Excellent guide Jacky Zhan: patient, knowledgable and tireless. Very good itinerary. Affordable price! Not all the accomodation of the same quality. Breakfast should be a basic standard in tours like this.

William- he was amazing. I also really enjoyed the small group, non touristy adventures, the extras that William brought to the experience like having our host teach us to make dumplings. Just a great experience all around!

Travelling to China by myself would not have been possible - or at least very different - had it not been for Intrepid and my amazing guide William Li. Being in a group helped with figuring out transportation, accomodation and food.

I thought the quality of our main guide, our day guides, and the schedules were very well done, but there was some miscommunication about airport pickup and drop-off during my trip which slightly took away from the experience.

This was my first group tour and Intrepid trip. Everything was so easy, and while I had traveled on my own once before, this time I just did more things, and felt like I was experiencing the place I was visiting, not just looking at stuff.
