Tokyo
Your tour leader greets the group for a welcome briefing covering insider tips about what to expect in Japan. You'll sit down for your first group dinner trying different Japanese dishes while getting to know the other travelers. After that, you can either head to a local bar if you're up for it or head back to rest before tomorrow starts.

Tokyo
Begin with a hands-on sushi-making class taught by local chefs, then eat what you've made for lunch. From there, you'll visit Meiji Shrine, which offers a quiet escape in the middle of the city. Next comes Harajuku's fashion district where you can browse vintage shops and grab street food. You'll experience the energy of Shibuya Crossing and see the Hachiko statue. Your late afternoon is free to wander around Tokyo, or if you've booked ahead, try go-kart racing through the city streets.

Start by walking through Yanaka Ginza, a nostalgic shopping street, then head over to Akihabara's tech and gaming district with its neon signs and packed arcades. There's an option to check out a maid cafe if that interests you. After that, you'll see Asakusa's historic district and the famous Senso-ji Temple, walking past the souvenir shops lining Nakamise Dori. In the evening, you can either watch sumo wrestling and eat chanko nabe with former wrestlers, or explore Hoppy Street's traditional izakayas for a different kind of night out.

Tokyo to Mount Fuji to Tokyo
Take the train from Shinjuku to Shimoyoshida for your Mount Fuji day trip. You'll hike up to Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine to see its iconic red pagoda framed by Mount Fuji in the background, though weather can affect the views. Then you'll visit Oshino Hakkai, a charming village with thatched-roof houses and clear spring ponds. Grab lunch and explore on your own before heading back to Tokyo by afternoon. Your final evening is free to celebrate with the group or do your own thing.
