You'll arrive in Nairobi and get settled at your accommodation. If time works out, head to the Giraffe Centre to see Rothschild giraffes up close, or wander through local markets looking for souvenirs. The evening's yours to relax and get ready for the safari that's coming up.

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Drive out to Amboseli National Park where Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the landscape. An afternoon game drive gets you looking for elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, and different bird species with that iconic mountain as your backdrop throughout.

Amboseli National Park
Start early in the morning for a game drive when the light's best for wildlife photos. After lunch, you'll head back out for more game drives across the park. Later, visit a local Maasai village to learn about how they live and their traditions.

Landmarks Amboseli National Park - Day 4
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Travel to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake with wildlife all around it. Your afternoon is open, so you can spend time taking in the lake scenery. As evening comes on, hike around the rim of Crater Lake for a quieter experience after the busy safari days.

Landmarks Lake Naivasha Crater Lake - Day 5
Hell's Gate National Park
Head into Hell's Gate National Park for a hike where you'll get close to giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. You'll see Fisher's Tower and geothermal springs during your time there. By afternoon, head to the geothermal spa for a swim and some downtime.

- Day 8

Another full day in Masai Mara exploring the wide open spaces. Early morning is when you'll have the best chances to find lions, leopards, and predators hunting. The afternoon brings chances to see elephants, cheetahs, and all the different bird species out and about.
