- Day 1
Auckland
You'll arrive in Auckland and head to your accommodation from the airport. Once you're settled, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace. If you want those views everyone talks about, the Sky Tower offers panoramic sight lines across the city and harbor, or you can just wander the streets and get a feel for things on foot.

- Day 2
Auckland
Spend the day using the hop-on-hop-off Explorer Bus to navigate around Auckland at your own pace. You can check out museums and galleries whenever something catches your eye, and there's plenty of waterfront to walk around. In the afternoon, stop by the All Blacks interactive museum if rugby interests you, then come evening, you'll head out on the harbor for a sailing dinner cruise as the sun sets over the water.

Auckland - Rotorua
This morning you'll leave Auckland heading toward Rotorua, with stops along the way at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and Te Puia geothermal area. Once you arrive in Rotorua later in the day, you can relax at the Polynesian Spa Pools where the natural hot mineral water overlooks Lake Rotorua, so there's time to unwind after the drive.

- Day 4
Rotorua
Start early with a guided half-day geothermal tour that takes you through Wai-O-Tapu's mud pools and the Lady Knox geyser, then continues to Waimangu Volcanic Valley. After some time exploring those areas, you'll head back to prepare for the evening when Te Pa Tu begins, a Maori cultural festival with traditional songs, theater, and forest performances, finishing with a four-course dinner featuring seasonal kai.

Once there, you can walk through 44 hobbit holes, the mill, double arch bridge, party tree, and stop in the Green Dragon Inn. There's time to shop for souvenirs before heading on to Auckland for your final evening.
