Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine
You'll catch the bus from Puerto Natales heading toward Torres del Paine National Park. Once you reach the Laguna Amarga entrance, a transfer takes you to your accommodation in the park's central sector. This is mostly a travel day to get settled in before the hiking starts.

- Day 2
Torres del Paine - Base Las Torres viewpoint hike
An early morning gets you moving on a tough hike across the Chilean pampas. You'll cross the Ascencio river, push through the Los Vientos mountain pass, and make your way through lenga forest over moraine terrain to reach Base Las Torres. The granite towers Torre Sur, Torre Central, Torre Norte, and Cerro Nido del Cóndor rise above the turquoise-blue lagoon below, which makes the effort worthwhile. After heading back down, you'll have dinner at Refugio El Chileno.

Torres del Paine - Francés sector hike
This hike covers 13.5 km along Lake Nordenskjöld's shores with moderate difficulty. You're heading toward Almirante Nieto and Cuernos del Paine, where the horn-shaped peaks with their hanging glaciers create the main scenery. On clear days you might catch small avalanches coming off the glacier. The route passes through various lakes and landscapes where you can spot the region's plants and wildlife.

Torres del Paine - Valle Francés to Paine Grande sector
Valle Francés is one of the park's highlights, and you'll start with an easy hike to the Italiano Campsite. From there the trail turns uphill through forests into the river valley where you get a viewpoint looking out at Paine Grande, Catedral, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Aleta de Tiburón, and Cuerno del Norte. After taking in the views, you descend to the Paine Grande sector for the night.

Torres del Paine - Grey Glacier to Puerto Natales
You'll tackle another major highlight with a demanding hike to Grey Glacier. The trail runs along Paine Grande with views of its hanging glacier through Antarctic beech, Dombey beech, and Chilean firebush forests before reaching a viewpoint over Lake Grey with its floating ice chunks. You'll continue to Grey Mountain Refugium for closer glacier views, then return to Paine Grande sector. Later at 18:30, take the catamaran across Lake Pehoé to Pudeto, then the bus back to Puerto Natales to wrap up the tour.
