Itinerary
- Day 1
Oslo to Lemonsj\u00f8
You'll depart Oslo Bus Station at 10:20 am on an express bus heading into Norway's interior. The 4-hour journey carries you through mountains, valleys, rivers and farmland, gradually moving away from the capital toward Lemonsjø in the Valdres region. By late afternoon you'll arrive at your starting point, giving you time to settle in and get oriented before your cycling days begin.

- Day 2
Lemonsj\u00f8 to Ruten
Your first cycling day takes you through the forested Murudalen valley on gravel roads, passing along several rivers as you make your way to the village of Skåbu. From there you continue to Ruten Fjellstue in Espedalen. This region is called Elgland because of its high moose population, and Ruten Fjellstue has its own brewery if you want to check that out after riding.

Ruten to Bygdin
You'll cycle along the Jotunheimvegen heading toward Jotunheimen, following the large lake Vinstra and passing many summer farms along the way. The Jotunheimen mountains start appearing on the horizon as you go. By the end of the day you reach Bygdin Fjellhotell, which sits next to Bygdinvannet lake right near the M/B Bitihorn landing stage.

- Day 4
Bygdin to Tyinkrysset
Morning is yours to control since the boat doesn't leave until early afternoon. There's an optional hike to Synshorn at 1457 m if you want great views of Jotunheimen. In the afternoon you'll board the historic M/B Bitihorn for a 1.5-hour boat crossing on Lake Bygdin to Eidsbugarden. After that you cycle through gravel and paved roads in the scenic Lake Tyin region, with an optional detour into Koldedalen to see glaciers and mountains. You finish at Filefjellstuene in Tyinkrysset.

- Day 5
Tyinkrysset to Syndinst\u00f8ga
Cycling from Filefjell, you'll follow the main road and partly the King's Road down to Lake Vangsmjøsa. You then trace the beautiful lake with its steep slopes before climbing uphill to reach the Syndin plateau and Syndinst øga at roughly 1000 m elevation. This section gets challenging, so pace yourself accordingly. You'll stay at Syndinstøga, a small place known for regional cuisine.

Syndinst\u00f8ga to Gomobu
Today's a shorter and easier cycling day through a livelier region with mountain huts, vacation homes and grazing animals along gravel roads. You'll reach the Vaset region within Valdres, which is a popular cabin and vacation area for Norwegian families.

Gomobu to Kamben
You cycle from Gomobu via the treeless Stølsvidda to Golsfjellet, which gives you magnificent views of both Jotunheimen and Hemsedalsfjell. The route moves through active agricultural areas where farm animals graze freely, so you'll see quite a bit of rural Norway on this day.

Kamben to Oslo
Your cycling adventure wraps up with a transfer to the bus station in Fagernes (about a 30-minute drive), then a bus ride back to Oslo. This concludes your Norwegian cycling tour and brings you back to the capital.
