    Basel

    You'll board your river cruise ship in Basel and get settled into your stateroom. This is where you'll meet the crew and other passengers before heading out on the Rhine River. Think of it as your home base for the next week as you start this Medieval Treasures journey.

    Strasbourg

    Strasbourg offers a few different ways to spend your day. You can take a guided city tour that hits the Parc de l'Orangerie, European Parliament, and Place de la République, then walk through La Petite France with its half-timbered houses and the Cathedral. Or if you prefer, there's a guided bike tour option instead.

    Ludwigshafen to Rüdesheim

    In Ludwigshafen you have choices: tour Mannheim Baroque Palace with its 800-plus exhibits, head to medieval Speyer to see the Romanesque cathedral and emperors' crypts, or check out the Speyer Technik Museum. Later that evening, you'll sail to Rüdesheim and participate in a wine tasting.

    • For any tour departing before March 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of $575 is required to confirm your booking with AmaWaterways. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
