Marrakech
Your driver meets you at Marrakech airport and takes you to your riad in the medina. From there, you've got time to walk around Jemaa El Fna Square and get a feel for the city's energy and street life.

Rabat - Chefchaouen
The drive takes you along the coast to Rabat, Morocco's capital and political center. After stopping for lunch, you'll continue north through Ouazzane and on to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, where the whole town is painted in distinctive shades of blue and white.

- Day 4
Volubilis - Meknes - Fez
Start your morning in Chefchaouen, then head toward Fez. Along the way, you'll stop at Volubilis, the historic site, and spend time in Meknes to see the Bab Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, a guide takes you through Fez's medieval medina, showing you madrasas, the Nejjarine fountain, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum before exploring the Karaouine Mosque and Fès Jdid.

- Day 5
Fez
You'll take a half-day guided tour of Fez focusing on its medieval Jewish history and the Mellah with its synagogue. The tour covers Al Quaraouiyine University, the world's oldest university, plus the medina with the Bou Anania medersa, Nejjarine fountain, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. You'll walk through narrow alleyways where merchants and craftspeople sell dates, fish, spices, copper urns, and musical instruments.

Fez to Merzouga
Starting early from your riad, you'll travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward Merzouga. You'll stop in Ifrane, which feels Swiss, then see cedar forests and monkeys near Azrou. After lunch in Midelt, the route takes you through Ziz valley with views of palm trees and past Erfoud, known for its fossilized marble. At Merzouga's sand dunes, you'll ride a camel to a Berber camp (sand dune boarding is optional), and afterward enjoy traditional music by the fire with dinner.

Todra Gorge - Dades
You'll wake early to catch sunrise over the dunes, have breakfast, then return to Merzouga village. From there, you head toward Boumalne Dades, passing through Rissani and its Fossil Factory. You'll stop near Tinghir, a town in a large palm oasis, then visit Todra Gorge for a walk and lunch. Later you'll continue through Dades village to reach your overnight spot.

- Day 8
Ouarzazate - Aït Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll drive through the Valley of the Roses to Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazate, the Sahara's gateway. You'll check out Atlas Studios, famous for major film productions, and explore Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site and fortified village used in Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. The drive back to Marrakech goes through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, with stops for lunch and photos.
