This adventure was very immersive into the culture of Japan. We saw beautiful sights, experienced several cooking classes preparing our own Japanese meal, rode the bullet train making traveling between cities faster than by motorcoach, heard from a survivor of the Atomic Bomb which was moving, and experienced a night in a Budish monastery. This is a level four trip with a lot of walking but was paced well. I would highly recommend the trip for those able to do a lever four trip.

A woman who was a child when the atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, spoke with our group about her life. She and her family lived 2.5 kilometers from the city and were spared from the worst of it all. . But what happened after!!

The tour manager Ana ensured a pleasant atmosphere during the tour and connected with everyone. Scheduled activity was clearly communicated and the tour included several hands on sessions making Japanese art which you keep as souvenirs.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 5th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 5th, 2025, a minimum payment of $349 is required to confirm your booking with Collette. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
