San Juan
You'll board your cruise ship and settle into your stateroom before heading into Old San Juan. The neighborhood's a UNESCO World Heritage Site with narrow colorful streets, neoclassical balconies, and Spanish colonial buildings that give it real character. Plan on visiting El Morro fortress, which has been overlooking San Juan Bay since the 16th century and offers great views of the water and city.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is your stop next, featuring Spanish architecture with painted buildings everywhere. You can also visit the Orotava Valley or Puerto de la Cruz, which used to be a fishing village and now functions as a spa town.
