  1. Day 1

    Delhi

    You'll arrive in Delhi and start exploring right away. First stop is Old Delhi where you'll see Jama Masjid and take a rickshaw through the crowded Chandni Chowk market. From there, head to Rajghat, Gandhi's peaceful memorial. The afternoon includes driving past India Gate, President's House, and Parliament House before visiting Qutub Minar, a UNESCO site with impressive red sandstone towers. You'll check into your hotel by evening to rest up after a full day of sightseeing.

  2. Day 2

    Delhi to Jaipur

    After breakfast, you're heading to Jaipur, a drive of about 280 km that takes roughly 5.5 hours. Once there, you'll go to Galta Ji Temple (the Monkey Temple) with its sacred pools and the surrounding cliffs. Later, you'll see Birla Temple, an intricate marble structure dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Both temples are self-guided, so you can take your time exploring. By evening you'll settle into your hotel in Jaipur.

    Today's a full day of guided exploration in Jaipur. You'll head up to Amber Fort, the massive Rajput-Mughal hilltop fortress with its courtyards and palaces. Then it's on to Hawa Mahal for photos of that distinctive pink five-story structure. You'll also tour City Palace, the royal residence that still functions as a home, and Jantar Mantar, the old astronomical observation site. Before heading back to your hotel, you'll have time to walk through Jaipur's colorful local bazaars and do some shopping.

    You're leaving Jaipur early and driving toward Agra, covering about 260 km in roughly 5 hours. Along the way, you'll stop in Abhaneri to see Chand Baori, an intricate stepwell with hundreds of steps descending into the earth. You'll also visit Harshat Mata Temple nearby. Then you'll continue to Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital with its striking red sandstone buildings and courtyards. After arriving in Agra, you'll check into your hotel and settle in for the night.

Then you'll explore Agra Fort, the massive Mughal fortress with its palaces and courtyards. In the afternoon, there's a walking tour through Old Agra's streets and markets. Later, you'll attend a spiritual fire ceremony at a local Brahmin family's home where you'll have light traditional Indian snacks. You'll spend another night in Agra.

You'll stop at Kapilvastu along the way to see the ancient Shakya kingdom where Prince Siddhartha spent his childhood. There you'll explore the palace ruins and archaeological remains. In Lumbini, you'll visit Maya Devi Temple marking Buddha's exact birthplace and the Sacred Pond where his mother bathed before his birth. By evening you'll check into your hotel in Lumbini.

You'll arrive in Bodhgaya by evening and check into your hotel.
