Itinerary
- Day 1
Buenos Aires
You'll land in Buenos Aires and get transferred to your hotel. After that, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and look around at your own pace. You're staying here for 3 nights.
- Day 2
Buenos Aires
Following breakfast, join a half-day city tour that takes you through Plaza de Mayo to see Casa Rosada, Cabildo, and Metropolitan Cathedral. You'll stop for snacks at a historic café, then walk through San Telmo's cobbled streets, check out the colorful tin houses in La Boca, and visit Recoleta cemetery. See Avenida 9 de Julio and Teatro Colón before heading to a tango house for dinner and a show in the evening.

Buenos Aires
The day is open for you to explore Buenos Aires on your own. If you're interested, optional excursions go to Tigre Delta or San Antonio de Areco. There's also a bike tour option covering the northern neighborhoods of Palermo and Recoleta if that appeals to you.

- Day 4
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Early morning you'll transfer to the airport and fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world in Tierra del Fuego. Your guide will meet you and give a short city tour on the way to the hotel. You're based here for 2 nights.

Ushuaia
Take a half-day morning trip to Tierra del Fuego National Park where you'll walk through the lenga forests with their ferns and mosses, and catch views of the Andes, Ensenada Bay, and Beagle Channel. Your afternoon is free. If you want, there's an optional catamaran on Beagle Channel to see sea lions and seabirds at Los Lobos island and pass the lighthouse at the end of the world.

Ushuaia to Puerto Madryn
Transfer to Ushuaia airport and fly to Trelew. Head to Punta Tombo to see one of the world's largest penguin colonies of Magellanic penguins, and depending on the season (mid-September to April), you'll see different stages of penguin life. After that, drive to Puerto Madryn on the Atlantic coast where you'll stay for 2 nights.

Puerto Madryn
Spend a full day at Valdés peninsula nature park, traveling along Golfo Nuevo to Golfo San José and searching for the bird island. Watch for sea lions and elephant seals on the beaches and cliffs. If you're there between May and December, you can join an optional boat-based whale watching tour. Keep an eye out for ñandus, armadillos, foxes, burrowing owls, and guanacos.

Puerto Madryn to El Calafate
After breakfast, drive to the airport, fly to El Calafate, and transfer to your hotel. Your afternoon is free. Depending on your flight timing, there's an optional visit to Glaciarium Museum, an interactive ice interpretation center with exhibits on Patagonian glaciers, climate change, and ice research. You're staying 2 nights here.

El Calafate
After breakfast, spend the full day in Los Glaciares National Park visiting Perito Moreno Glacier, a 5 km long and 70 m high glacier that's the only one still growing on the American continent, advancing up to 1 meter per day into Lago Argentino. Every few years the ice reaches shore and shatters spectacularly. You'll approach it from various terraces connected by wooden walkways, then return to your hotel.

El Calafate to Puerto Natales
Head to the bus terminal in the morning and take a public bus to Puerto Natales in Chile. The 4 hour journey crosses the Patagonian steppe to this fishing port with pastel colored houses and corrugated iron roofs. Puerto Natales is now a hub for travelers going to Torres del Paine National Park. You're staying 2 nights here.

Puerto Natales
Take a full day tour through Torres del Paine National Park, about 150 km northwest of Puerto Natales. This nature reserve has some of southern Chile's most impressive landscapes with lakes, unusual mountain formations, and snow-capped peaks. You'll visit Milodon Cave and Salto Grande waterfall, then return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Santiago de Chile
Explore Santiago de Chile, a city where colonial buildings and modern skyscrapers mix together. Your city tour starts on Alameda where you'll see important buildings like the government palace and San Francisco church. You'll visit the main square with its cathedral and old post office, and the main fish and seafood market. The tour finishes at Cerro San Cristóbal viewpoint with panoramic views over the city to the Cordilleras. The rest of the day is yours to explore.
