Overall the tour was very well thought, organized and scheduled: we never had a delay! It gives a complete idea of the whole country. Every piece of information was always very accurate and given with great punctuality: the domestic flights and the transfers were perfect; ac ouple of guides were excellent (Alejandro in Medellin was absolutely outstanding). The Hotels in Bogotà adn Pereira were excellent (location, room amenities, food quality and variety for breakfast), but the hotel in Medellin was not as good. The last hotel in Cartagena was absolutely decadent and poor, as to location, amenities, food, internet conncetion. unfortunately the worst way to end our trip with a 3 night stay.

The Amazon is a wonderful environment and this was a great tour. Jimmy, my guide, is a really wonderul guy and he made all the difference. He speaks English very well which helped a lot. The variety of activities was pretty good, the boat rides, the monkey forest, Porto Narino and Santa Clara were fantastic. I have never seen rain or flooding like this before either, a visually striking experience not to be forgotten. Leticia was delightful, a frontier town with a great chilled out vibe. The hotel that was booked for me was very nice. I would recommend it and don't forget to check out the pool at the back. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would have liked to have spent more time (I had 4 days). Will definitely look up Jimmy the next time I head over which I'm hoping won't be long. Take plenty of mosquito repellent.

Fantastic trip! Communication was excellent from start to finish with messages each day confirming timings, what was happening needed. Guides we had were informative and helpful. Itinerary was excellent giving us an insight to Colombia and all it has to offer!

For tours departing after November 14th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Gran Colombia Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
