Itinerary
- Day 1
Iceland South Coast
Your day starts on Iceland's South Coast where you'll head to Seljalandsfoss first. You can hike right behind the waterfall if you've got a raincoat handy, which is pretty cool since you get water spraying all around you. After that, it's on to Skógafoss where the Skog River drops 60 meters down into a gorge, and there's a staircase nearby that takes you up for views across the landscape. Throughout the day, your guide keeps an eye on conditions in case Northern Lights show up, so there's a chance you might catch them if the weather cooperates.

There's an optional stop at the Blue Ice Cave on Vatnajökull Glacier if you want to go deeper into it with a glacier guide and Super Jeep, though that depends on conditions. From there, you make your way to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach to see the tall basalt columns and strong Atlantic waves. The whole tour wraps up back in Reykjavik around 8 PM, depending on weather.
