Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
Your driver will meet you at Colombo International Airport for the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and rest from your flight. Most people use this time to get acclimated and maybe explore the hotel grounds or neighborhood if you're not too tired.

Colombo to Galle
Following breakfast, you'll see Colombo's main attractions like temples, Independence Square, and the National Museum. On the drive toward Galle, you'll stop at the Kosgoda Turtle Farm to learn about sea turtle conservation work. After checking into your Galle hotel, you have free time to walk around or rest.

Galle
After breakfast, your guide takes you on a full-day tour of Galle. You'll visit a sea turtle hatchery, the historic Dutch Fort, Buddhist temples and monasteries, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, and Jungle Beach. The afternoon gives you time to shop or relax back at your hotel.

Galle to Yala National Park
You'll head to Yala National Park in the morning and check in at your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you go out on a jungle safari where you might see the endangered Sri Lankan leopard, elephants, wild boars, and different bird species. By evening you'll be back at your hotel.

- Day 5
Yala National Park to Nuwara Eliya
Start before sunrise for a morning game drive in Yala National Park looking for leopards and wildlife. Return to have breakfast and some downtime. Later you'll check out and drive toward Nuwara Eliya, stopping at scenic Rawana Falls along the way. You'll settle into your new hotel with the evening free.

Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, your guide shows you around Nuwara Eliya (called 'Little England'), including the town center, local marketplace, Golf Course, Hill Club, and Seetha Eliya Temple with its religious statues. You also see the scenic mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantations in the area. The afternoon is yours to relax.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy
You'll check out after breakfast and head to Nawalapitiya Railway Station to board a train to Gampola with nice views along the route. During this journey, you stop at a tea factory and processing plant to see how Ceylon Tea is made. From there, you continue by vehicle to Kandy, check in, and have time to rest.

Kandy
After breakfast, your guided tour of Kandy covers the Royal Botanical Garden, the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Old Royal Palace, and Sri Natha Devalaya Temple Square. You'll walk around Kandy Lake and catch a traditional Sri Lankan cultural performance. The evening leaves you free for shopping or to stay at your hotel.

Kandy to Sigiriya
You check out after breakfast and drive to Sigiriya with stops in Matale and Dambulla. Along the way, you visit the Aluviharaya Rock Cave Temple, Fort Macdowall, a spice garden, the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple with its Golden Buddha, and the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs. Then you continue to Sigiriya, check in, and have free time.

- Day 10
Polonnaruwa
After breakfast, you climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress to see the ancient fortress ruins and views. Then you take a day trip to Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site from medieval times. You'll walk through the Royal Palace, the Gal Vihara complex with four Buddha images carved from granite, and see the statue of Polonnaruwa's greatest king before heading back to Sigiriya for the night.

Anuradhapura
After breakfast, you take a full day trip to Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka's most sacred places. You visit the Sri Maha Bodhi (the world's oldest historically documented tree), the Brazen Palace, various dagobas, several monasteries including Ruwanwelisaya, Abeygiri, and Jetavana, rock-cut Buddha statues, ancient palace ruins, and the Isurumuniya Rock Temple. You return to Sigiriya to spend the night.
