Start by walking through Le Jardin d'Eden park, which takes advantage of the mild local climate to grow all kinds of plants and trees. It's a nice spot if you want to spend some quiet time outside. After that, wander around town and check out the historic sites and cultural attractions scattered throughout. The location near Lyon gives it good access to regional history. Plan your day so you have time to grab lunch somewhere local and still see what interests you most before your 19:00 departure.
