Mâcon to Lyon
Starting in Mâcon, the gateway to Beaujolais wine country, you'll see why it's called the capital of Saône-et-Loire. The town has a Mediterranean feel with flowers everywhere. From here the cruise heads south back toward Lyon, arriving late in the evening so you can settle in for the night.

You'll arrive in Tournon-sur-Rhône at 09:00 in the morning. This town sits right along the Rhône River and has a lot of history to explore before you need to leave at 19:00. Start by walking through Le Jardin d'Eden park, which takes advantage of the mild local climate to grow all kinds of plants and trees. It's a nice spot if you want to spend some quiet time outside. After that, wander around town and check out the historic sites and cultural attractions scattered throughout. The location near Lyon gives it good access to regional history. Plan your day so you have time to grab lunch somewhere local and still see what interests you most before your 19:00 departure.
