Asked on July 23rd, 2025I am interested in booking this tour. I was wondering why its listed as activity level 3? There does not seem to be any strenous physical activity involved (except on optional activities). Due to my physical fitness level, i usually do level 2 but i dont think any activity involved in this tour would be very difficult. Is it because of the long driving days? I dont have issues with that or camping, since I have done a camping tour in Africa with G before.
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025This tour is rated a three due to the camping aspect and driving conditions. This is not a physically demanding journey; however, travelling can be difficult, with long drives and poor road conditions at times. An essential part of your safari is participation. The group is usually divided into small groups and given different tasks which change on a day to day basis, from kitchen duty group (helping in prepare meals and clean up afterwards), the packing group (sets up all tables and chairs outside) and the cleaning group (which cleans the truck by emptying the rubbish bin and sweeping).
